16 Weeks!


Only 168 more days to go!!! Today I am 16 weeks! The baby is now the size of an Orange! I've been so tired lately, I think work has really been tiring me out. I've still been getting really bad migraine like headaches. The doctor says they are just hormones, but man they are pretty rough! At our last doctors appointment on March 12th our midwife said everything looks great, we go April 18th to find out the sex of the baby! I can not wait! When the doctor did the doppler heart monitor she said it sounded like the baby had the hiccups :) how cute!

Its been a pretty fast two weeks since my last post. I got my hair cut and highlighted now that I'm in the second trimester, it so needed done! The weather has been so amazing the last couple weeks too I've been loving it! My belly seems to be starting to pop out a little everyday! I can now only wear one pair of my old jeans, thanks to Libby for sending me some of her old maternity capris and T-shirts because its been pretty hot here.

Things I've been craving: Blue Crabs (Yum), Snow cones (Still), salad, and thats pretty much it mostly normal stuff. I did have some crabs on Saturday and they were SO good! So glad I can still eat those while pregnant! :) I broke down and bough my own snow cone maker, I'm still waiting on it to arrive...I cant wait!

14 weeks!


Today I am 14 weeks pregnant the baby is as big as a large lemon. Last night when I was laying in bed you could feel how big my uterus was it was pretty crazy! Should be starting to pop out over the next several weeks. We have another doctors appointment on Monday the 12th we will find out when we can schedule our ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby!

Its been a long 2 weeks since my last update. Lots of different cravings, Headaches, and sleepiness! Things that I have been craving over the last 2 weeks. Snow cones with scoop of ice cream on top. I could not get enough! Salads, in particular caesar salads and salad with italian dressing, fried pickles, red grapes, black raspberries, more salad, and honey bunches of oats cereal.

Pretty much all of my nausea has left every once in a while I'll get a little nauseas but it doesn't stay long. The biggest problem has been headaches, they have been kicking my butt! I've tried just about everything, warm bath, massage, Tylenol rapid release, more water, Gatorade, and chocolate. Tylenol helps sometimes, the thing that worked for a little while was chocolate so who knows. I'll ask the doctor on monday I think its just hormones.
